Welcome to my new Crafty Creations website!! I have been working with different crafts for over 40 years, so, as you can imagine, it is a tremendous joy in my life.
I began cross-stitching first, and I still work on it now, mostly through Christmas ornaments and various scenes. Because these require time and tedious work, they are very limited in availability.
Then, I began to work with jewelry about twelve years ago. I do a variety of things, such as hand stringing chip bead necklaces and bracelets, making necklaces and earrings with pendants and other various items, and working with fresh water pearls in a variety of colors. And, I recently added a small collection of rings to my jewelry... I like looking into these!!
After that, I expanded my work with small painted items, starting first on stretched canvas and plastic picture frames. These are small Christmas items, school and college-based themes, family trends, and even some Halloween treats! I have also tried my hand at watercolor painting (just started that!), so most of my pictures are angels and other things. I don't usually bring these items to my craft events, but I have included pictures of some of the painted items I have at home... just let me know if you see something you like!!
And, just about six years ago, I began taking classes at Lowe Mill in Huntsville to learn more about pottery work. I have added a nice collection of clay and pottery items, all handmade by me. I have many ornaments that can be used for Christmas or just general decorations around the house. Some are holiday-themed, some are school-themed, and some are just for fun!! I also have several pottery pendants and earrings, again with different themes. And I have a few small bowls of various shapes, sizes, and colors... again, let me know if you see something you like as I do not always bring these items to my craft events.
Finally, my fun side of my crafts has been working with fleece and flannel. I have a wide variety of solid and pattern fabrics, all of which I make into scarves, blankets and small pillows. I have tons of cute baby items (boy, girl, or even the unidentified!), kid patterns (including dinosaurs, pink butterflies, trucks, and much more), college team spreads (mostly SEC teams), various hobby items (bears, teachers, unicorns, flowers, and so much more!!), soft and cuddly solid fabrics in a rainbow of colors, and much, much more! Of course, these change year to year, based on availability, so check my pictures or contact me... FYI: first come, first served!!
All items are available for shipping... shipping cost varies with your order numbers and sizes. I am also able to meet you in Gurley or Huntsville for delivery. If you have questions about this, just let me know.
